Smooth and forgiving, the Calypso excels as a first electric sailplane. Ailerons are included for enjoying a wide envelope of soaring performance, and by adding optional flaps experienced glider pilots can move up to more advanced thermal chasing. Three versions -- RTF, Tx-R and Rx-R -- come with a factory-installed brushless power system. There's also an ARF version available for those who want to equip the Calypso with their choice of radio and motor. All require only a screwdriver for final assembly -- with no gluing -- and can be flight-ready in 30 minutes!

This is the Tx-R (Transmitter Ready) version that includes servos, an ESC and SLT receiver. The beauty of Tx-R technology is that you can use the transmitter that's already set up just the way you like it to fly virtually any Flyzone plane. As long as your radio is compatible with the AnyLink™ -- nearly all brands, bands and modulations are -- you can fly the Calypso. In most cases, you'll just plug the tiny AnyLink (available separately) into your transmitter's trainer or DSC port. Then you're ready to send signals to the SLT receiver included with Tx-R models.
